"YOU WON’T MISS THE ITCH!”

BY MAKING THE SWITCH TO EARTHWOOL

Can insulation really feel THIS good?

Knauf Insulation’s new Earthwool® products don’t look or feel like any insulation you’ve ever experienced, that’s because the natural brown colour represents a level of sustainability and ease of handling never before achieved with glasswool in Australia. The colour and super-soft feel of this glasswool comes from a revolutionary sustainable binder which does not contain the petro-based chemicals, added formaldehyde or arti cial colours commonly used in glasswool insulation.

Product Info: Polyair Performa

Polyair Performa XHD is a high grade radiant heat barrier and extra heavy duty sarking in one product. It boosts the thermal performance of roofs and walls while improving the comfort and energy e ciency of a home.

Polyair Performa XHD is a multi layered thermo reflective insulation and extra heavy duty sarking in one product. Its special antiglare coated foil reflects up to 95% of the sun’s radiant heat while the foam inner core and inward facing foil reduces heat transfer through the product.

Polyair Performa XHD is manufactured in Australia under the quality management system of ISO 9001:2008 and the environmental management system of ISO 14001:2004. The products are manufactured to be extra heavy duty and are designed speci cally for the hot Australian climate.

We Recommend: AiroMatic Power Roof Ventilator

Comfort & protection for your home

The AiroMatic is Edmonds latest powered roof top ventilator, developed to meet the cooling and drying needs of residential homes. It is a dual purpose ventilator, which can be used to cool a roof space on hot days via its new temperature sensing inverter speed control technology, or it can be set for constant ventilation rates to help reduce condensation build up in the roof space.

The AiroMatic is the first of Edmonds range of ventilators developed using advanced CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software. It has allowed Edmonds to produce a ventilator with a higher flow rate and efficiency than other ventilators while reducing its overall noise level and physical size. The innovative German motor that powers the AiroMatic, incorporates new blade tip winglet technology, and electronic commutating motor technology to further improve ef ciency and reduce noise.

The unique Edmonds design speed controller allows the selection of three fixed speeds of low, medium and high. This allows just the right amount of ow to be set to suit the severity of the conditions.

Benefits:

  • Cooler in Summer
  • Reduces risk of condensation
  • Improves energy efficiency of ducted air conditioning
  • Automatic flow adjustment to your homes’ needs
  • Easy and safe to install - No electrician required
  • Inverter variable speed technology Quiet operation
  • Clear dome adding light to attics
  • Comes in 4 colours but can be easily painted to suit your roof colour

How does AiroMatic work?

Temperature Control - Cooling mode

Set to automatic the unit senses temperature and switches on at low speed when the roof space temperature reaches 30°C. As the temperature rises, the inverter technology used in the AiroMatic, proportionally increases speed until the maximum speed is reached at 45°C. This means that the fan is only drawing as much power as needed to keep the roof space cool.

One of the benefits of reducing roof space temperature is improving air conditioning ef ciency and reducing the cost of running them.

Condensation Control - Drying mode

Condensation can potentially cause mould, mildew and building damage. Using any of the three speed manual control settings, the AiroMatic can effectively draw fresh and dry air into the roof cavity, removing moisture and helping to protect your home and the health of your family.

Features:

  • Manufactured from tough, injection moulded UV stable polymers, designed for Australia’s harsh conditions. Malleable ashing will suit all roof types.
  • 24VDC high ef ciency electronic commutating German motor. Operating power consumption as low a 4W (low speed setting)
  • High ow rates up to 650m3/h (high speed setting)
  • Automatic temperature sensor control with manual flow rate settings for condensation control
  • Operating noise levels as low as 35 dB(A).

We Recommend: Bliss-13 LED down light

We are pleased to offer this LED light so you can get the best result from your new insulation coverage and with added safety of eliminating fire risks.

Bliss-13

Led Downlight
The Domus Bliss downlight is a 13w Warm white LED with high output (3000k), ush face frame and dimmable driver.
The Bliss LED downlight has been specially designed to produce a cost effective and reliable, high quality downlight.
With 900+ lumens of light output it’s as bright as the 50w halogen, and it retro ts directly into the standard 90mm hole cut-out.
Its 120 Degree beam angle supports a much better spread of light than most down lights. The light comes complete with driver and 240 volt plug ready for DIY installation.*
Backed by a 3 year replacement warranty, and a national distributor for your reassurance.

5 Good reasons to replace your Halogen lights:

Getting the most out of your new insulation batts, the Bliss LED Downlight is IC-F rated (Insulation covered and Abutted rating) allowing the insulation to be installed eliminating the required large clearances in your insulation for halogen lights. Many lights can add up to a large percentage and meterage of an uninsulated area.

  1. The high temperatures of old halogen globes create a re hazard within the roof space from combustible materials such as timber beams, leaf matter, and some types of insulation and has been known to burn holes in air conditioner ducting and melting through wiring’s plastic insulation.
  2. Being a xed fully sealed light; dust, insects or direct air ow won’t pass in or out of your home’s living space. Less heat gain in summer and less heat loss in winter
  3. Big reductions of energy use with near to 75% power sasving, the LED being 13 watts, and the Halogen being 50 watts.
  4. Huge life span with expectancy of 50,000 hours or 10 years. No more need to change burnt out globes or transformers.

Being plug ready it is very simple change over process if you have plug bases. If plug bases are required we can introduce our economical licensed electricians to install bases and lights.

SUMMARY:

  • Warm white with 900+ Lumens of light output is as bright as the 50w halogen, and it retro fits directly into the standard 90mm hole cut-out.
  • 90 degree beam angle is a much better spread of light the .
  • The light comes complete with driver and 240 volt plug ready for use, It is also dimmable.
